[Texture Tuesday]-“It’s The Little Things Edition”

This is my first time to join here and I’m so excited to share mine. Today's theme is :“It’s The Little Things”. I have here a photo of some flowers which I don’t know what their names are. I took a shot of them during my vacation in the Philippines while on our way to the mountainous Dinggalan, Aurora. 
Along Fort Magsaysay   And I think I can call them “wildflowers” since I spotted them on the roadside.

I know that  we don’t have the same perception about “what are the little things “ but to me I thought of the FLOWERS as the little things that make a difference during a funeral or even in a hospital visit when a loved-one is sick.  Porvous Flowers can also say “I Love You” or “I am sorry”,  “Congratulations”  and the likes.

The recipe for this textured photos: First I cropped the photo to 8x8, made two layers, the second layer in Multiply at 50% opacity I added clipping mask from the ClippingMaskPhotoblend3 #8 from Cottage Arts  and used Kim Klassen’s texture pourvous   in two layers, the first layer in overlay at 25% opacity and second layer in soft light. I finished it up with Photoblend3 #3 from Cottage Arts in soft light once again. And then I made a Digital Scrap of it, which is the photo on the top. I guess I made a painting like art worth framing .texturetuesdaytitle

Chili Poppers

Cooking O riginally, this recipe came from one of the blogs I follow, the Weir Family . It is called “Jalapeño Poppers” . I love chili stuff so much and I find this one different and so I tried it. Since it was my first time to do it, I didn’t perfect it. I overcooked the bacon strips but it still taste good, “crunchy bacon strips”  . My husband didn’t find a jalapeño and so I ended up with a long chili, as it was written in the tag, I’m not sure. So this one is really hot  . You can try other chili as it suite you, provided that it can be stuffed with cheese.  Here are the ingredients and procedures: Ingredients: 12 fresh Long Chili Cream cheese Grated cheddar cheese 12 bacon strips DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 250. Macro /Mellow Yellow Monday

Dates Palm Tree is everywhere in the Middle East and most of it are bearing it's fruits during this time of the year. . This fruit is yummy, so sweet that it blends well with a tea, a natural sweetener. According to my Arab friends, dates is rich in iron so it's good for pregnant women. This fruit is so versatile that Arabs made some ways to make it more appealing to eat; when ripe, it is use as a filling in breads or cookies. It can also be eaten fresh from the tree, when dried it becomes juicy and crunchy, it is also preserved and sprinkled with some sesame seeds . (See More on Wikipedia if you wish to: (Phoenix dactylifera) ). I was lucky to find a not so tall Dates Palm Tree but with only 3 fruits left in its twig. And I found a heart shape at this angle.
