Farmer's Haircut Session...(Without Crying)..

*Farmer will be my son's name in the web*
This should have been posted earlier but for some reasons I wasn't able to do so. Anyway, last week, Farmer had his haircut... and yes without crying, running and wrestling. Farmer's last haircut sessions was really not a good experience. The first time we went to a barber shop which was in SM City Taytay, he ran and cried, we were like Tom and Jerry chasing each other. I thought of an alternative by having a home service but it was still the same old story. I have to let him sit on my lap and wrap my arms around him and lock his arms. He is wrestling with me trying to escape so strong that he kicked the lady hair cutter. And that is the reason why he had a long hair for a long time.
Long Hair
But last week was a different story. Hubby and I brought our kids in Dahran Mall because my sister-in-law told us that there is a good Kabayan (fellow Filipino) hair cutter in one of the Kids Salon there. We first let Farmer walk by himself and run anywhere he want to in the big mall. When we thought that he is already tired of running around, we place him in a shopping cart and went ahead to the Kids Salon. I was expecting already that he would panic but then when he saw the place, he smiled and so I told him,
Papagupitan natin hair mo huh?
He nod and smiled at me as he waited patiently for his turn. I was so surprised and yet excited coz he will finally have his haircut after 6 months. And finally without crying, chasing and wrestling!!
Waiting  while waiting outside the salon
I think the ambience of the salon made him feel relaxed. There was a toy car, his favorite toy and a lots of kids having their haircut too, though there was one child who is crying but Farmer didn't mind at all. So finally, the waiting is over. We went inside and he was excited to climb up the car but then Mr. Barber said that it is broken so Farmer have to sit on a regular chair. The haircut session began, Farmer is starting to feel a tickle as Mr. Barber used his hair shaver.
On Session Almost starting to have a form and I'm glad he is not yet bored so I just keep on taking a pictures with my iPhone.
AlmostI can see a difference now. Daddy and Mr. Barber keeps on cheering Farmer before he would even think of giving-up.
Quite
Almost but not quite but Farmer is still in the mood while her sister is starting to become restless and meddling on the things inside the salon. I was force to sit with her in the waiting area which made me miss taking a picture on the part when Mr. Barber is finally using his scissors.
Done
It's finally over and to wrap it all up, Mr. Barber put a gel and made Farmer looked like an anime'. But after the session Farmer became hyperactive running to and fro, I didn't had a a good shot of the finish product. But I'm still happy and relieved cause he finally had his hair cut.
