Mommy, I Want To See God..

One night while I was doing some stuff in my computer and my kids are watching "Praise Baby", my daughter started to show off by singing along with what she is watching  using her toy "echo" microphone.

The song that was playing was "God is Love". I smiled back at her to acknowledged how I appreciate her singing and motivating her by nodding my head. Then she suddenly told me,

"Mommy I want to see God”
I looked at her and smiled but really didn't mind what she said as I glance back with what I am doing in my computer. Then she insist on it again saying in a tone of eagerness of wanting to see God.

"Mommy I want to see God!, pleeeaaaasssee?"
And since I wasn't giving too much attention on what she is telling me, she took my Iphone and said,
"okay I will find God.
In my peripheral I saw her typed the word "God" in you tube search box, and as she saw what come out from her search, she said:

"hey what is this? this is funny?
Her voice was in a manner of wondering why those kind of funny videos came out  from her search. And I started explaining to her:
“Honey you cannot see God”. Remember what we talk about in the church? Mommy teacher said that God is a spirit, like the wind you cannot see it but you can feel it.
There was still a questioning look at her face and asking
“errr ,why can’t I see God?”
Too much why and still asking me why and so I reminded her about our lesson in our Friday School Children Ministry regarding the "Holy Spirit Mystery". Though I still saw a stunned look on her face, she just went back in singing along with the Praise Baby Collection.
Ate-3
I guess her young mind cannot grasp what am I talking about or she has this enthusiasm and eagerness of seeing God.

Lesson: I shouldn’t have taught her how to find things in You Tube just to watch the things she wants to learn and see by just typing the keywords, hmmm..

Friends are flowers in the garden of life CAPTURING I  had the chance to capture some beautiful flowers when we went swimming in ARAMCO Rastanura last 2011 Eid Al Adha. Yep, this photos has been sleeping for a long time now in my external hard disk :) It's so rare for me to have subjects such as these because of the place where I am at. I'm not saying that this place is not picturesque but only because our life in this country revolves in "going to work" and "going home"; we sometimes eat out; but most of the time we make some groceries during salary or have some time in the park, but only when the weather is fine.  The whole family can also drive around during Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha. H ello blogger world, welcome to my new website, "annFabulous Life". It's not actually a new blog, but more of a new home. A Mother's Day Card

Proverbs 22:6- Train up a child in the way he should go. And when he is old he will not depart from it. I t was Mother’s Day and greetings are overwhelming. But nothing would make my heart melt but to receive a card from my own child. This is the first card that my daughter Mikay gave to me, it was done during our Friday service in the children ministry with her teacher Jaz.  It wasn’t a card that is perfectly made with all those fancy colours and decors but it was just a card made from a pink bond paper with paper star cut outs with letters   I,   heart shape   and   U   to say the word   I Love You .  Inside it, was just the words “Happy Mothers Day” written with ordinary crayons. All in all, it was typically done by a four year old child.
